Learn From A Skilled Writer

We've gathered a group of skilled Christian teachers with experience helping others grow in writing.

Half-An-Hour Per Week

Every week, your teacher will meet with you online, review your work, and teach you how to improve your craft.

What You'll Do In This Program

Study the Craft of Storytelling

For the first month, we'll go over the core building blocks of storytelling as we help you outline a practice short story. Here's what you'll learning:

  • The three essential qualities every compelling protagonist has
  • How to create an engaging plot without running into writer's block
  • How to give your story a moral point without being preachy
  • How to create a strong story outline

Get Guided Feedback

The second month is all about writing and revising your practice short story with an experienced writer there to help you every step of the way. Here are the sort of problems we'll help you with:

  • How to get past writer's block when it hits
  • How to use an outline when writing an actual story
  • How to tackle the editing process as painlessly as possible
  • How to apply writing concepts into an actual story

Finish with a Polished Story

During the third month, you'll apply what you've learned to a new writing project (e.g. your current "work-in-progress"). At the end of the program, you'll emerge with the following:

  • A finished, polished short story you can show off to friends & family and even submit to a writing contest
  • A better grasp of the craft of storytelling
  • A better idea of what skills you need to work on next and how to apply what you've learned to your future projects
